We didn't make it to see the lights at temple square the last 2 years because Cannon was to little for all the cold so this year I put it at the top of the list. We hauled the kids down and it was PACKED. It was COLD. But it was beautiful and FUN for about 10 minutes, HA HA. Cannon was a little miserable and couldn't quite get into the spirit but we had fun and I love seeing the lights there.
The kids really like seeing the different types of manger scenes and I like to try and get them to guess how many little lights are on one tree. They guess from 69 (Luka's favorite number for some reason) to one million. It is so funny.
I was really fun to have Julie and Ava with us too. It wouldn't be the same without family!
I do have to say the most entertaining part was when we were leaving two cars started fighting over a parking spot right in front of the temple. Hundreds of people were walking and standing there to cross the street. It got to the point where one guy got out of his car to beat up the other guy until he moved out of the way. It was so uplifting! HA HA
