Luka's Preschool Program

We have been through an interesting time this year with preschool. I couldn't find one. Then I finally found one far away and made a deposit. Then one opened up right in the neighborhood so I thought I would support it and go, and it was so close. So I lost my other deposit and had to pay a new one. Luka went- it was hard. He ran home once. That is his personality though. Then the week before Thanksgiving they sent a note home saying they were closing at the end of Dec (that is the short version). To say the least it has been DISCOURAGING.

But, things happen for a reason, right! We were so blessed and found a GREAT preschool that took him and 3 other kids from his other preschool right in and it is super close too. AND- my sister happened to know the teacher, which helped me feel a little more comfortable. Now, this is the really crazy part- Luka LOVES it. He never fights me on going. He has totally blossomed in it- he has only been going for 3 weeks but it has been amazing. I am so happy.

His teacher had a program even though she had 4 new students. I was so amazed at how much he had learned so quickly. I would say more than he had learned in 3 months at the other school. He has never been a performer but He actually sang the songs and smiled during it. I felt so much relief and peace. I am so happy about this.

The program was so funny.

I love watching how each child is in their own little world performing. They did sign language, counting and singing. They were so proud of themselves. It was great!
