Luka's First Friend Bday Party

Luka was so excited for his bday this year because I told him he could have a "friend" party. He has seen Cooper and Savannah have birthday parties with friends so he couldn't wait. He wanted to invite his soccer team and a couple of other friends. He decided on having it at the Kangaroo Zoo- a bounce house that is really close by.

So- he ended up inviting 7 friends and his siblings and his cousin Ava (sadly she got sick and couldn't come). The day of his party arrived and he was so excited he didn't know what to do with himself. He requested a Batman cake so I ordered one from our favorite bakery and it turned out so cute!

We decided to have all the kids meet at the bounce house. We stayed there for an hour and 45 minutes then we took them back to our house for cake/ice cream, presents and play time. First- let me just say that Cooper and Savannah were the best helpers at the Bounce house. They took the little boys all over and held their hands and helped them climb up the big slides. The little boys were only 3 and 4 and it was some of their first "parties" to attend so they were timid. But they fell right into step with my kids and had a BLAST. I couldn't believe how good they all were and there we no fights:)

When we got to our house they were all so cute singing to Luka. AND- I loved how big Luka's smile was. He was in heaven. I also loved all of our black lips and tongues from the black frosting on the cake!


When it was present time it was so cute to watch all of the kids take their present to Luka and get so excited when he opened it. They would ask him if he loved it and if it was his favorite. He would always say "this is just what I wanted, it is awesome, my favorite!"

and then get up and hug them. I LOVE the age of 4. So innocent and exciting.

The boys had so much fun playing upstairs too and were so easily entertained.

When it was time for each one to go Luka had a little party gift for them. He would hand it to them and hug them. I loved it. It was so fun.

He was so pleased with his birthday and party this year. He thanked me so many times. And, if Luka gives you a hug and thanks you that is big stuff!
